Your loved one is guaranteed the highest quality care from us. Our 11-Step ID Process ensures that your loved one is correctly identified during each step of the cremation process. You can relax knowing that your loved one is in good hands.

  • A non-combustible, identifying tag which includes their full name is placed on your loved one the moment they enter our care.
  • A family member positively identifies your loved one, confirming the identification tag.
  • They will be asked to provide a license or state-issued ID to confirm their relationship to the recently departed.
  • Your loved one is placed in the cremation container of your choice, with their name clearly written on it and matching the identification tag. – if no container is chosen, we place your loved one in a proper container to ensure proper safety and discretion – (we go the extra step and place all bodies in a container)
  • You and your loved one’s family will be invited to view the recently departed.
  • The death is recorded with the State of Pennsylvania after a medical evaluation. A cremation permit is issued.
  • Your signature authorizes us to cremate the recently deceased. Cremation will not be authorized until we receive your signature and the crematory operators have double-checked the forms.
  • A written record is created that includes the deceased’s name, age, date of death, identification number, time of cremation, crematory operator and the cremation container.
  • This record is placed in a secure location.
  • A certified crematory operator verifies that all the information is correct and matches the record created for your loved one.
  • The identifying tag remains on your loved one as cremation takes place.
  • After cremation, the remains and identifying tag are immediately placed in the urn or container chosen by the family that has the deceased’s name already printed on it.
  • The remains of your loved one are placed back in your care.
